Who we are
Founded in response to Ghana’s growing textile waste challenge, RTN-Ghana works with educational institutions, communities, industry, government, and development partners to transform discarded textiles into valuable resources that create environmental, social, and economic impact.
Our Purpose
We recover surplus textiles and production offcuts, transforming them into innovative products, educational resources, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Our programmes promote creative reuse, upcycling, sustainable fashion, skills development, research, policy advocacy, and green entrepreneurship. Through practical training, exhibitions, awareness campaigns, and strategic partnerships, we empower young people, women, and communities to become active participants in building a circular textile economy.
Textile waste (offcuts) is not waste—it is a valuable resource with the potential to create jobs, inspire innovation, and build sustainable communities.
Together, we are reclaiming value, transforming lives, and creating a more sustainable future for Ghana and beyond.
Impact since establishment
RTN-Ghana has engaged over 4,000 students and 400 community members, collaborated with schools, universities, rehabilitation centres, churches, and industry partners, and created inclusive employment opportunities while promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable livelihoods.
